“Lakota” Speaks With A Forked Tongue

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

By David Ben-Ariel Exchange with “Lakota” on the History Channel Forum — White Christian racists imposed their religion on us during the 1800s and early twentieth century. I’m sure they would appear “racist” to some who would hypocritically make mention of their skin color, realists to others not so prejudiced. Regardless of real or imagined racism, such folks must have been taking a chapter from the brown pagan “Native Americans” (Asian immigrants) who routinely butchered each other, pillaged villages and raped women, kidnapped children and raised them according to their own tribal beliefs. This practice seems to afflict every race and religion to the honest and objective observer. It is not exclusive to some British or Euro-Israelites. Atrocities occurred on both sides. I grieve at the thought of that, and felt a spirit of heaviness, a great sadness, upon me near Wounded Knee several years ago and I prayed for healing and reconciliation as much as possible, good and honest before God who knows all, who had King David (my forefather) right some wrongs Saul had done against their “Natives.” Ideally, all would come to see that various idolatrous traditions and beliefs are man made at best, demonic at worst (remember your “Ghost Dance” was a dangerous religious lie that resulted in many deaths - Wovoka a false prophet the people fell for), both among pagans and professing Christians, and grow and mature beyond them, rejecting tradition for truth. Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.” Our message…told us how we should live our lives, taught us our ways. This is our belief. If you truly believe your message (not that you speak for all the various tribes with their warring ideas and different ways), I trust you’re living on a reservation to preserve it rather than in the “white man’s world” and culture, yes? If it’s not necessary to live on a reservation to practice your particular tribal religion, then why have a reservation? Kind of like me reminding the Jews that they’re supposed to follow Judaism to Israel. Do not despise the word of the Creator as given to us. You don’t actually believe that Creator only spoke to a handful of people in the Middle East do you? Yes, because that’s what the Bible teaches, so why don’t you practice what you preach and not despise the Word of the Lord, our Great Creator God, given to Israel to share with the world? God has a plan of salvation for all mankind but has chosen the Jews and Israelites as His Firstborn of many nations. The Bible is an ethnocentric book with great meaning and purpose once understood and rebukes those who would minimize the importance of Israel in that plan or seek to substitute or replace them with any replacement theology. Amos 3:2 You [Israel] only have I known of all the families of the earth… Psalms 147:19-20 “He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.” “To whom much is given, much is required” which is why the British-Israelites and Jews are held to a higher standard and are bringing divine judgment on our professing Christian nations and the Jewish homeland for our idolatry and immorality borrowed from the Gentile nations. Will God Curse Our Countries for Christmas? If you’ve read any of my articles, you would see that I sincerely offer both scathing condemnation of practices (both the Bible and history expose as pagan) among professing Christians, as well as constructive criticism, tough love, for the British-Israelite and Jewish peoples, believing the biblical blessings or curses, life or death options given us. Isaiah 58 1 Cry aloud, spare not Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. There are things we can learn from each other, the brown “Native Americans” and the white “Native Americans” (I was born here), but whether it’s politically correct or not this country was given by our Great Creator God to the descendants of Joseph, primarily, as prophesied and fulfilled before our eyes. Joseph needs to remember our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities and set an example for the world to follow even if others will continue to find fault and engage in destructive criticism. You mention the conflict in the Middle East, of which I am very much aware. However, my people are here, my ancestors from England, Ireland, Scotland and Germany settled in and around Ohio for the most part. Some people have come before us and other folks have come later. Regardless, we’re all here now. David Ben-Ariel is a Christian-Zionist writer and author of Beyond Babylon: Europe’s Rise and Fall. How Some Real Estate Professionals Are Increasing Their Business By Catering To Senior Citizens

Monday, July 30th, 2007

By Sue Haviland As the population of our country ages and the demand for senior-friendly housing increases, are you ready for the challenge? Communities catering to the active adult are springing up everywhere as these retirees who want housing that meets their lifestyle and needs are looking to perhaps make a move. But what about the senior who wants to stay in the home in which they have made a lifetime of memories? For the senior who wants to remain in that home but might need to supplement their income or have a particular financial goal in mind, there is another option. And that option is one little known insider secret that savvy real estate professionals across the country are embracing in record numbers. Its the reverse mortgage. A reverse mortgage? Isnt that for seniors who want to stay in their homes? As a real estate professional why do I need to even think about this product? The answer may surprise you. There are a few very creative ways to build your business and enhance your position in the industry as specialist in working with the senior market using the reverse mortgage as a financing tool. As the baby boomers (those born between 1946 and 1964) approach retirement age, they are having a real impact on the real estate market and the economy in general. Companies are implementing strategies geared to capturing the attention of the baby boomers. How can you position yourself to serve their real estate needs as this next generation of seniors makes their home buying and selling decisions? And just how could the reverse mortgage fit into this picture? Lets consider for a minute the definition of a reverse mortgage. It is a loan product that enables people age 62 and over who own a home to take a percentage of the equity out of their home without having to sell the home, move, or take on a new mortgage payment. Some of the more common uses for reverse mortgage proceeds include supplementing ones income, paying for expensive medications, paying off a mortgage, basically uses that would be considered needs, as opposed to wants. As the reverse mortgage gains popularity (record numbers of reverse mortgages have been originated in recent years) the uses for the proceeds have become more and more creative and these proceeds are being used to meet the wants. Increasing numbers of seniors are using reverse mortgages to fund travel, gifts to children and grandchildren, and charitable giving. But there is one more use that will be of particular interest to real estate agents. What if a senior could use reverse mortgage proceeds to purchase another home? Yes, indeed, the proceeds can be used for virtually any purpose, so why not help your senior clients meet their real estate goals by utilizing the reverse mortgage? Lets say you have a senior couple whose dream it has been to own a vacation property that all of their children and grandchildren could enjoy together. They have been struggling to figure out how they can afford it. The savings they have available are not enough for a cash purchase and they are hesitant to take out a forward mortgage for fear of the monthly payment. You, their trusted real estate professional, suggest a way to access tax-free funds in the form of a reverse mortgage and suddenly their dream has become reality. You have satisfied their goal and increased their real estate holdings in the form of a vacation home that they have yearned for. You have just set yourself apart as a true professional and you did it by educating yourself on a specialized product that can meet the needs of millions of seniors in our country today. How about another examplea senior who lives alone. The children are concerned about mom or dad in that big old house that requires a lot of maintenance and is so far away. The finally convince mom or dad that it is best to move to a secure, gated condominium community. However, as you are reviewing different available condos, the price seems to be prohibitive. The proceeds from the sale of the older home just arent going to be enough to buy the new unit. A forward mortgage is not a consideration, because mom or dad is on a fixed income and taking on a new mortgage payment is just not part of the picture. You, once again, in the role of trusted advisor, suggest that the client look into a reverse for purchase. You havent heard of that before? Im not surprised. A reverse for purchase is probably one of the best-kept secrets Ive ever seen. Personally, I make sure all of the real estate professionals I work with know about this concept and even better, they know how to make it work. By educating yourself on all options available to your senior clients you will be assured that you are providing the best advice and guidance possible and you will have truly positioned yourself as an expert. These clients are looking to you to step into the role of an advisor and help them sift through the many decisions that have to be made. Embrace that role and take advantage of the impact that the baby boomers are sure to bring to the real estate market. Finding Your Target Weight

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

By Karl Warren Finding your target weight can either be simple or complex. It just depends on how you choose to view it. Let’s take a look at the simple way to find your target weight first. If you are currently overweight, and you know it, finding your target weight can be as simple as starting the healthy journey of losing weight. Be honest with yourself and realize that you are overweight and any changes that help you to lose weight are a step in the right direction to reaching your target weight. You will notice changes in your appearance and even your energy levels by losing as little as ten pounds. Yes! Ten pounds! Once you have started losing weight, start making easy, realistic goals of weight loss steps that you want to achieve and hit your marks. If you’ve already lost ten pounds, try to maintain that weight for a few weeks, and then try to lose another ten pounds. Once you see how easy it was to lose the first ten pounds, you’ll be motivated to easily lose the next ten pounds much quicker. The complex view of finding your target weight can be a bit depressing even though it can also be very precise. The basic formula is your weight divided by your height in inches multiplied by your height in inches, then multiplied again by 703, or this: (Weight/Height) x (Height) x 703. This is called your Body Mass index and it will give you a very precise score about your target weight and how far above or below you are from your target weight. This score is also able to tell you about concerns that you may face by being overweight or underweight because there are diseases related to both situations. For example, if you are above your target weight and are overweight or obese, you are at much greater risk for heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, gall bladder disease, and even cancer. If you are below your target weight, your immune system is a great risk and that can make you very easily susceptible to life threatening illnesses. Whichever way you choose to identify and reach your target weight, keep in mind that you can reach your target if you focus and create easy goals that can be accomplished quickly. Don’t try to lose all of the weight that you may need to lose right now. Start with losing 10% or even 5% of your weight now and work toward your goal of your target weight with determination and consistency. Secrets to Getting More Customers

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

By Chet Holcomb During some point in the business development cycle, every business owner asks themselves the following question: How do I attract more customers who will spend more money and bring me more profits? Most business owners are not in business to provide charity and they need some way of attracting more customers who will spend money. Customer acquisition is the name for getting customers, and it is the first priority any business owner should put into practice. Almost anything you do in buisness is not as important as customer acquisition. In order to stay in business and make profits a business owner must have a full proof way to get more customers, and keeping the loyal customers you have. With out a doubt, the way to acquire more customers is through a direct response marketing system. What this means is whatever process you choose to acquire new customers you need a built-in way of tracking response so you know where the customer came from. The Secret is: You must tell your potential customers where they can find you AND give them a worth while reason for doing business with your company. Needless to say this is the secret behind all marketing. Marketing practices can be narrowed down to this one potential goal. Tell your prospective customers where they can find you and most importantly why they should be doing business with you. Practical ways to do that are: 1. Send everyone in your business area a postcard, or distribute flyers when you announce a sale or event. Have them bring in the postcard to receive a special discounted price. 2. Distribute a press release with the latest company news, and products available only at your place of business. Include a special telephone number for customers to call for more information. 3. Give a speech at a seminar or Chamber of Commerce. and hand out brochures detailing your products, and service with your name, address, and phone number with a special way for customers to get a discount at your business when they visit. 4. Take out classified ads, yellow pages, or whatever means are available in your area, and don’t forget to include that all important discount offer in the ad. 5. You must be a expert in your business field by furnishing information about you product, and service to potential customers. Most business owners regard marketing as a means to no end, and would rather concentrate soley on their core business functions. But when these practical methods are used in getting more customers to there place of business they can consider themselves successful, and start enjoying the profits of there hard work! Tired of Marriage? Start Dating

Tuesday, July 17th, 2007

By Alan Stafford When the romance has trickled out of your marriage and each day seems to blend in to the next, try these easy ways to re-energize your marriage and your love life. Start by thinking back to your dating days. If dating was fun, but marriage has become routine-start dating again. Of course, I mean start dating your spouse. Think of him as your lifetime date. Do all the fun things you did when you were deciding whether to marry him. What did you do for fun? Did you play sports, go out to dinner, or go shopping? Make dating your spouse a priority. Fit these activities back into your schedule. Plan a date night for once a week. If you dont have any kids, your schedules are probably pretty full. Schedule date night in advance, the same as you would for any other social or professional meeting. If you do have children, hire a babysitter to come over on the same night every week. This will save you from having to find a babysitter every time you want to go out. And, it will strengthen your commitment to date night. For example, plan to have the sitter come over every Thursday, but tell her not to call before arriving. This puts the burden on you to cancel and removes one of your excuses for not keeping the date. By planning ahead, very little effort is involved in the preparation of date night. This makes it much more likely you will get out of the house and keep the promise you made to each other. When you go out for your date, do something that renews your bond. Watching a movie or going to a concert may be fun, but they dont give you the opportunity to talk to one another. If you decide to see a movie, follow it up with dessert or coffee. Theres value in just sitting alone together, face to face, and talking. Your date night should be all about you and your partner so dont invite friends or family. And definitely leave the kids at home! Allow yourselves enough time to make a night of it. If you schedule only an hour or two out of the house, you will be limited to doing the same thing every date night. Opening up the evening allows you to try new things and decreases the stress of having a curfew. Since youll be dating about three or four times a month, make sure to try new things. Go out to dinner at a new restaurant, go out for coffee, play a board game, go dancing, go for a picnic, go for a bike ride or a swim. The possibilities are limited only by your imaginations. If you get stuck for ideas, try this: each person sets the agenda for alternate date nights. For example, your husband plans the next date night. He makes all the decisions about what, where, when. But, he doesnt tell you. You get to wonder all week what the date will be. And then on date night, let him be your Master of Ceremonies. You dont get to complain or criticize-just go with the flow. The following week, its your turn. This keeps some surprise and excitement in the dates because even weekly date nights can get routine. What you do on date nights is not important. What is important is that you are together. Bonding, reconnecting, sharing. And reliving for just a few hours each week, those happy times when you were single but wanted to spend the rest of your life with this person. Well now it is the rest of your life. Keep the romance alive; keep the fun alive. Make your marriage a lifelong date. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dr. Alan Stafford, Relationship Results CoachI help Singles and Couples build relationships that workwww.relationshipsuccessexperts.com Click here to ask Alan a question about your biggest relationship issuehttp://relationshipsuccessexperts.com/askalan.htm Get our free newsletter for relationship tips and advicehttp://relationshipsuccessexperts.com/subscribe.html 2005 Alan Stafford/Relationship Success Experts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Alan_Stafford http://EzineArticles.com/?Tired-of-Marriage?-Start-Dating&id=111703 medicaid these history got in many michigan can medicare most reimbursement himself for him video should swallow between study at in that home still care his navigator between aetna most medicare but challenged who on him catheters much

How Does A Homeowner’s Association Borrow Money?

Saturday, July 14th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Bill_Darken]Bill Darken A Homeowners Association is a non profit association that takes care of the common areas of a housing development area. The job of a Homeowners Association is to take care of the upkeep and improvements of a property and they need the money to conduct repairs and improvements. While the associations do have reserves some major improvements or repairs may over tax these reserves and end up in depleting all of them. In case of charging a special assessment on the members for raising this amount may lead to delays and non conformance from all the members and in some cases after getting the approvals the association may find it difficult to get the money from the members which may stall the work half way through. Homeowners Associations can borrow money from banks and can quickly start work on the pending up gradations or repairs without significantly burdening its members. The benefits for the members are that their individual credit worthiness has nothing to do with the loan and they dont have to worry about anything but choosing the right repayment plan. Additionally there are some HOA friendly banks with divisions specifically dealing with HOAs that makes it a tad easier for them to get the loans. That does not however mean that the HOAs can get money in a jiffy. Most banks require them to go through a rigorous application process wherein the banks study their reserves, cash flows, delinquency, and other financials and in some cases the banks may also require the Association to be managed by a Certified Common Interest Development Manager. Normally the banks will provide loans to a Homeowners Association to carry out improvement to facilities such as pools, saunas, playgrounds etc. or to carry out repair work on sidewalks, roofs, parking spaces etc. Once the Homeowners Association decides for itself the amounts of the loan they can get the same appraised by a bank and then choose from a host of options for repayment. Since the whole association is borrowing the money individuals are not required to give out their personal information and they can choose the repayment plan that suits them the most. So in effect while the whole association is borrowing money, all the members need not repay the money in the same manner. Each individual can choose from the various re payment options that the bank presents them with depending on his situation. The various repayment options include getting into a special assessment with the bank where the individuals will have the option repaying the Homeowners Association loan over a fixed term with reasonable interest rates. A special assessment is nothing but an improvement or repair that has been done on a property and for which bonds are issued to repay the cost that has been incurred. The amount of this loan can generally vary from anywhere from $50000 to $10 million with a repayment period of one to seven years. If on the other hand an individual can arrange cash there is no need to take any loan and they can straight away pay cash. One can also take another loan by means of an equitiy loan or equitiy line of credit generally advised if there is some tax benefit to be derived out of it. The least preferable means is by taking an advance on the credit card, this will entail a very high rate of interest and is only advised when there is something like airfare points or other reward programs attached with it. Normally for collateral the Bank will not take anything from the individuals rather they will take an assignment on any special assessment related with the repayment of the loan and the associations lien rights and assessment rights which they have over the individuals. While an individual may not have much choice in deciding whether they need that new gym or not at least they have the independence of deciding what repayment plan they choose, be sure to go through the fine print and check with your tax advisor before finally settling on any repayment plan.
